Landon and I have known each other since kindergarten. We have always been in the same class and have practically grown up together. However, our love story did not start then of course. One of the earliest memories of Landon and I was when we were in first grade and he kissed me on the cheek. You would think I would be flattered but I was not and told Mrs. Gergan who was our first-grade teacher. So I can say that Landon was my first kiss. We started to like each other in eighth grade through the middle of ninth grade but that did not last long. We rekindled our relationship in the middle of Junior year during basketball season. Landon and I were each other first for many things first homecoming date, first relationship, and first love. We have created so many memories together and have learned and grown so much in this relationship. Being able to put Christ in the center of our relationship has grown us even more together. We can't wait for this next adventure in our lives, we know it won't be easy, but, keeping Christ as a center, having good communication, and continuing loving each other through everything, we know that we will flourish into a beautiful married relationship.
The proposal took place at the Wolf Ranch Water Fountain. Landon and I were both working that day and were going to hang out afterward. However, I did not realize that Landon had a big surprise for me at the end of work. Before I went home our Abby who was the dispatcher at work (the person who gave us orders) sent me to take a recovery order. That means that they forgot to deliver something and we had to bring the person a replacement order. At that time, I was a little irritated because I was already up in Wolf Ranch and didn't want to have to go back up there. But I didn't really have a choice so I took it anyways. Little did I know that Landon had driven up there to surprise me. The idea was amazing, problem was that no one told me that I was supposed to take the delivery to the fountain. So like normal I took the order to the house and rang the doorbell. After I did that Landon showed up but not thinking I continued to ring the doorbell a second time. Once I understood what was happening I tried to leave before the woman answered the door. That did not happen by the way so I had to tell the lady it was a mistake. After that whole situation, we went to the proposal sight and Landon proposed. Even though it didn't go to plan it was the perfect proposal that could never be copied because it probably could never happen to anyone. However, I can confidently say that it was the best night of my life and I couldn't have asked for a better proposal.
