How We Met
October 2015
We were introduced years ago by the Matron of Honor, Ali. She tried to set us up and we both decided against it. A couple years later, we ran into each other at a mutual friends BBQ and started talking. We realized we really enjoyed each others company and started dating. Fast forward a couple years and we are engaged!
The Proposal

Jesse worked at the State Cinema in Stamford for years. It has been closed since 2019 but still holds a special place for both of us. Under false pretenses of alarms going off, we headed to the theater. Once we turned the corner, the marquee was lit up and on the sign was "Allison will you Marry Me". By the time I read it, and turned around, Jesse was on his knee asking me to marry him. Of course, I SAID YES!!!
