What should I wear?
Answer
Dress code is semi-formal. A nice dress for girls is perfect, while men may wear a dress shirt or polo shirt with slacks. However, consider the weather! It will be October in South Carolina, with strong wind at the wedding venue. Bonus: There is a subtle 1950's vibe to the wedding. Feel free to dress for this inspiration ;)

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Your RSVP will ask you to specify any dietary restrictions. We will have food for everybody! Feel free to reach out for more specific questions.

Will you be livestreaming the ceremony?
Answer
Yes! We recognize that some of you will not be able to make it to the ceremony in person. However, we will put a livestream link on this website for you to watch from afar!

Can we take photos?
Answer
Yes, but! Only at the reception. No photos during the ceremony - just enjoy the moment! Our photographer will capture it all. However, photos at the reception are welcome, and we will have a way for you to share those with us!

Of course! We welcome all kids and will have lawn games and coloring pages during the reception.

Will there be transportation provided?
Answer
Unfortunately, no transportation will be provided. Please take this into consideration for your trip back to your lodging; Uber and Lyft availability is significantly limited in Brevard.

What type of food will be served?
Answer
During cocktail hour there will be a charcuterie board with light bites. For dinner, we will be having Italian food, with baked ziti and pasta alfredo with Italian sausage. Sides include salad and garlic bread.

Do you have a wedding hashtag?
Answer
Yes we do! If you share photos on social media (after we have posted, please!), feel free to use the hashtag #PoelPartyofTwo. Poel is pronounced like swimming pool :)
