Travel Note
Hi everybody! We know travel arrangements can be complicated for our out-of-towners. We have put together information for flights, hotels, & transportation, below. Please note if you'd prefer to do something different that is absolutely ok! For those not driving in, here's what we would personally recommend: -Flying into BOS Sat. December the 2nd -Sharing a rental car with friends/family -Getting a hotel in Middleborough (share rooms as required) -Driving to/from the wedding ceremony & back to the hotel on the 3rd -Taking our shuttle from the hotel to/from the reception -Flying out Monday December the 4th in the afternoon All details below.
Hotel
This is 1 of 2 hotel options. Both hotels are conveniently located in between the church and the reception. These 2 hotel options are right next to each other separated by a Dunkin & and Cumberland Farms. The Mr. & Mrs. will be booking a room here on the night of the wedding. Hotel
This is the 2nd hotel option available. Both hotels are conveniently located in between the church and the reception. These 2 hotel options are right next to each other separated by a Dunkin & and Cumberland Farms. The Mr. & Mrs. will be staying at the hotel just down the road. There is no room block for this hotel, but there are inexpensive room options as well.
Shuttle
December 3, 2023 4:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Cocktail hour at the Villa starts at 5pm We have a shuttle bus for guests running between the hotels and The Villa. We would like to encourage anyone to utilize the bus, especially those staying at the hotel block and those planning on drinking at the reception. The busses are first come first serve, seat about 50 people, and will pick up from the lobby of the Fairfield inn (If you are staying in the holiday inn please walk over to the lobby of the fairfield for pick-up/drop off) The first bus will depart the hotel at 4:00pm. (Secondary hotel pick-ups will be 5:00 & 5:30, but we Highly recommend you make the 1st one) Busses will depart The Villa at 10pm to return guests back to the hotel block.
Flight
Boston Logan Airport and T.F. Green Providence Airport are the closest options to fly into. There are typically more flight options into Boston but BOS to the church is about 1hr 20 min drive, and PVD to the church is about 45 minutes. BOS & PVD are about 1 hour from Middleboro, MA (where we have the hotel block). Please note that traffic in and out of the cities can add a significant amount of drive time during rush hour.
Shuttle

The Logan Express is a great option for getting in/out of Boston traffic- you can ride the bus out of Boston Logan Airport to the Braintree location. The Braintree Logan Express is about 25-30 min drive from the hotels in Middleborough. This is a great option if you have friends or family picking you up at the 'airport'- we would recommend you take the Logan Express to Braintree and get picked up there to avoid sitting in the traffic, as the bus will take the HOV lane. Tickets are a few dollars cheaper if purchased online the Logan Express Website.
Train
The T is an option for those traveling from Boston and not getting a car. Plan to take the bus from BOS airport to get on the Silver Line from Airport Stop to South Station then get on the commuter rail (purple line) to preferred city, which runs almost every hour (Ex. Middleborough/Lakeville). The T ticket is aprox $2.40 and the commuter rail is aprox $12 one way. The Middleborough station is only a 5 minute drive from the hotels. It could be walked if no one is available to pick you up, however the walk is not recommended because the sidewalk ends half-way.
