Grist House Craft Brewery
Pittsburgh has plenty of brewery options! Grist is one of our favorites to go to since it is dog friendly and has some great drink options.
The Waterfront
The Waterfront really has everything you could look for. Whether it is for shopping, food, or fun, this is a great place to visit. We recommend Dave and Buster's or Pins for some fun! The Improv always has really good stand-up comedy options. You'll also find plenty of food and stores for shopping!
MilkShake Factory (Oakland)
This is where we went on our first date! We grabbed milkshakes and walked around Pitt's campus. Hayley recommends the birthday shake, while Dan will tell you to grab a Jake shake. You can also take in the sights of Pitt's campus, including the Cathedral of Learning or Soldiers and Sailors while enjoying your drink!
Carnegie Science Center
You don't have to be a huge fan of science to have fun here. The Carnegie Science Center offers fun, interactive displays and experiments that can be fun for the whole family, no matter the age.
Rivers Casino
Feeling lucky??? Test it out at the Rivers Casino. The casino offers slots, table games, and a sports lounge for all sorts of betting options. There are also some decent food options inside.
Oakmont Bakery
If you've got a sweet tooth, there is not better place to stop than the Oakmont Bakery. I can guarantee it will be a bakery experience unlike any other. Check out their website to see some of their tasty creations!

This is a family favorite with some delicious Italian food!
Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium
Pittsburgh has an amazing Zoo and Aquarium. One of our first dates was a trip to the zoo!
Zone 28
This is very close to our venue and hotel block. They have bowling, arcade games, laser tag, food and beer.
Kennywood Park (Phantom Fright Nights)
Kennywood is a historic park around the Pittsburgh area. The park features a couple still working wooden coasters. During this time of year, Phantom Fright Nights will also be happening in the evening featuring some haunted walk thrus.
