What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask you to please wear spring cocktail attire, and preferably no shorts or denim. We're hoping the day can look as bright, colorful, and cheerful as it is going to feel and you can help make that come true!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your kiddos so much, our ceremony and reception will be an adults-only event.

Question

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! There is a large parking lot right next to the venue. Cars must be gone by midnight the night of the wedding, or by 8am the next morning for those who are not able to drive after a night of celebrating. We will also be providing a shuttle for guests staying in our block of rooms at the Hyatt at Iowa River Landing and do not wish to drive.

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Assuming good weather, our ceremony will take place outdoors and uncovered. Following, cocktail hour will be outdoors flowing between a covered patio and open lawn space for games, drinks, and mingling. Dinner will be inside a grand room, followed by dancing back outside under the covered patio. In the instance of poor weather, our ceremony will be indoors or under a covered patio. Dinner and cocktail hour will be indoors.

What time is the ceremony? What time should I get there?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 4:oopm. We ask that you please arrive 15 minutes early at minimum to say hellos and find a seat.
