Yes, since this is an international trip, you do need a passport valid at least 6+ months past your travel dates. Passport cards are not valid for international air travel. If you have a passport, be sure to check the expiration date. If you don't have a passport, it is a good idea to apply early to be sure you receive it in time for the trip. Passports normally take 5-6 weeks to process, but there is currently a delay due to the pandemic. We suggest applying a minimum of 3 months in advance as a precaution. To apply for a passport visit Travel.State.Gov.

Geography and time zone - Cancun is a city in the state of Quintana Roo, in southeastern Mexico. It is located on the northeast coast of the Caribbean Sea and Yucantan Penuisula and is just north of the Rivera Maya.
If you are staying 4 nights or more and book through the Fiesta Americana Website, free airport transfer is included. Otherwise, we recommend, USA Transfers. This company offers an app you can download to easily schedule your pick-up in advance and they take you to the resort. Similar to Lyft/Uber Lastly, there are taxis located outside the airport.
By and large, Cancun is a safe place to visit, as long as you take basic precautions. Just as in any big city, the most common crimes for tourists to look out for in Cancun are scammers and pickpockets. In Cancun, you’ll want to pay extra attention to your valuables and never leave anything unattended. For the most part, Cancun is considered safe for the majority of visitors, with the biggest threats usually hurricanes, hangovers, sunburns and mosquitoes. With such a big party scene, you’ll also want to watch your alcohol intake, never take a drink from a stranger and never leave your drink unattended with strangers.
Your attendance at the celebration our wedding is our gift!
