Atwood Lake

This lake is an about 10 minute walk from our apartment. It has a paved path around it which is great for running. There's a playground on the south side and exercise equipment on the north side. It's stocked with fish and there is an RV campground.

Big Ed's

If you're arriving early and want to go out for dinner you should definitely check out Big Ed´s Steakhouse. The prime rib is amazing! Or if you are feeling adventurous order a red beer.

The beautiful 9 hole golf course is a challenging course with bluegrass fairways and manicured grass greens. Tee times are not required. Cart rentals are available.

Riverside Recreation Golf Course

Riverside Recreation is a beautiful 9 hole golf course located west of St. Francis along HWY 36. The club house lounge is open late afternoons and evenings. Carts are available to rent. There is also a pond for fishing or just relaxing under the big old trees located there.

This is where we get everything for our kitchen. We regularly shop here for coffee and olive oil. It is a bit out of the way, but is definitely worth checking out if you have some extra time! They are not lying when they say they have the best olive oil in the region!
