Every princess needs her prince to live happily ever after...
While our love may not have been love at first sight, we built a friendship, we became best friends. When I felt lost and lonely your words lifted my spirit high, you were gentle, sincere, and above all else you taught me that a thing must be loved before is lovable and I became who I am today: a better person. I owe it all to you and when we thought it couldn't get better we fell in love. We felt a spark! I'm not sure where it started... could have been the walks in the park, or the laughs at the launch, maybe the sun sets in front of the Mississippi River. Who knew that those half jokes in our conversation would turn out to be the beginning of our happily ever after.
We first met at work and I still remember thinking "Who is this sassy child" after your first day after you bothered.. and bothered.. and bothered. Our time together at work evolved many hijinks and much time goofing off with our friends. Eventually we started hanging out outside of work as well, just us, together, and I felt like I was viewing you in a different light. The more time we spent together the more I wanted to maybe be something more. I felt like I was seeing past this "sassy child" and past the girl who always put up a front; I saw into you caramel center. Once we got close enough, and our love grew and I took your hand in mine... it felt like our hands fit perfectly together and that the spaces between my fingers would forever miss yours.
