We're getting married!

Lan was feeling super generous on bumble one day and decided to swipe right on Paul. He quickly realized what an amazing opportunity he'd been given, so he eagerly asked for her number and planned a date for that weekend. The night before his date, Paul decided to be ambitious and make himself a pot roast in his new crockpot that his grandmother gifted him. Enduring his usual #paulproblems, Paul dropped the lid while unboxing his new crockpot and shattered it. Alas, he had to put his pot roast in the oven. Fast forward a few hours and Paul had given himself an unfortunate case of... dun dun dun...FOOD POISONING. He texted Lan saying he'd have to cancel the date of his dreams, and that he was sorry. Lan responded disingenously with a "Feel better!" accompanyed with an eye roll. Thanksgiving was that week, so Paul went off to Mexico with his family as the 5th wheel and Lan went to see her best friends Mike & Krista get married. That Sunday, after over a week of no communication, as Paul sat in his Uber ride home, he thought about what a missed opportunity it would be to go on a date with an 11. He took his chances, made a wish, and asked Lan out again. Lan was sitting on the couch with her two friends, post-wedding when she got a text from "food poisining boy." She contemplated saying no, but Jess and Allison encouraged her, after a weekend full of love, to give him a second chance. Lan being soooo generous (see first line again for reference) and kind-hearted, agreed to his inquiry. Paul made plans to meet her at the bar, Park & Rec, just a block from his house. Lan walked into the bar, Paul's jaw dropped to the floor, and the rest was history. Paul has been obsessed with Lan ever since and they will live happily ever after.
