The couple met at Lehigh Senior High School in their sophomore year. They became friends the summer before their Junior year. They flirted with each other in English class. After homecoming, they made it official. They continued to date throughout college. They survived four long distance years. Darius attended Lake Erie College in Ohio and La'Nae attended Florida Gulf Coast University in Florida. After Darius obtained his bachelor's degree he resided back to Florida in 2014. Where the couple continued to grow together.

Darius provided La'Nae with a promise ring in the Summer of 2011. They both attended college a thousand plus miles away from each other. Darius expressed his love for La'Nae and promised to be the best man he can until he asked for La'Nae's hand in marriage. I think it's safe to say he kept his promise!

It was Christmas night and a total surprise to the Bride. The proposal took place in front of our immediate family members. This date will always be remembered it was filled with love and happiness.
