Matron of Honor
Mary and I have been inseparable best friends since sixth grade at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. From our mutual love of Jesus, sparkling white grape juice, beach lounging, and laughing until our faces hurt, I truly couldn't be more blessed to have her in my life. Mary is a walking ray of sunshine and an absolute gift—I’m beyond excited to have her as my Matron of Honor!
Best Man
Joshua is Nathan's brother, 1 year and 11 days older. Growing up we spent most of our time together with school, chores and play. We were fiercely competitive, especially with soccer, making each other better and pushing each other towards our goals. After we went to college we lived together in a few summers and had a great time training, relaxing and eating together. Joshua currently lives in Cincinnati with my younger brother Isaiah and my father John, he works as an account manager at Fastenal and has been fighting mixed martial arts for about two years.
Bridesmaid
Abby and I go way back to the early Latchkey days (an after-school program), where we would be singing, dancing, and crafting all day. Every sleepover we had there was always going to be a new song we were practicing on piano, laughter from the inside jokes we made throughout the day, or a fun walk down memory lane. Abby standing by my side during our wedding is a dream come true, and I couldn't be more excited!
Groomsman
Isaiah is Nathan's younger brother, about two and a half years younger. Growing up, Isaiah often joined Joshua and I in our activities, we all shared a bedroom with bunk and trundle bed. Being younger and smaller, Isaiah was usually paired up with my dad against Joshua and I to make teams fair for any competition, it made for a lot of fun. Isaiah now is a jack of all trades, able to get most things done, he takes interest in new hobbies frequently and pursues them aggressively. His latest interests are distance running and WWII history. Currently Isaiah works in a scrapyard, pairing his ability to work hard with charisma. He is also a crypto trader who has made some big wins and losses, I think he's up overall. He has a great sense of humor that is overwhelming at times, you can't help but laugh even if he's upsetting you.
Bridesman
My friendship with Matthew began when I turned to him during a speech and debate class at Otterbein and said, “You’re going to be my new best friend.” From college besties to roommates, Matthew has always stood by my side. Whether it's our love of Taylor Swift (including seeing her in concert twice!) or co-owning two friendly gray kitty cats, our friendship has been nothing short of amazing! This is such an exciting occasion and I couldn’t be more enthusiastic about celebrating with Matthew alongside.
Bridesmaid
Jael is Nathan’s youngest sibling, and over the past year, our friendship has grown immensely. She exudes confidence, and I can always count on her to bring joy into any room she enters—especially if she’s belting Defying Gravity from Wicked. Whether it’s a McDonald’s, Target, or Dollar Tree run, we always manage to have a great time. Our friendship means the world to me, and I’m beyond excited to have her walk alongside us on our wedding day.
Groomsman
Tyler is Nathan's friend that he met in high school at St. Xavier. Tyler and I became friends around sophomore or junior year, we hung out in the learning center together in a group of friends where we ate, did assignments, and had loads of funny and "intellectual" conversations. We’ve all stayed close since high school, and since then Tyler became a proud dad to his daughter, Carter. Tyler has grown a lot since high school, taking on responsibilities greater and earlier than I've begun to, I often find him someone to gain insight and understanding from. I'm glad to have him as a groomsman.
Bridesmaid
Layken and I met at Otterbein University and instantly clicked through mutual friends. I remember thinking she was one of the coolest people I’d ever met—and honestly, she still is. She has such a deeply caring heart and one of the sharpest minds you’ll ever come across, so it’s no surprise she’s on her way to becoming Dr. Layken. She’s my go-to for advice, laughter, and honesty—the kind of friend who shows up every time. I’m beyond grateful to have her by my side on Nathan’s and my special day!
Groomsman
Liam is Nathan's friend and teammate from Otterbein University. Liam and I met in the winter of our freshman year when he transferred into the university, we immediately shared common ground being on the soccer team and having other similar interests like our faith, nature, and connecting with others. We lived together junior and senior year, and ate most meals together. While I took my 5th year on the team, Liam was the graduate assistant coach of the team. Liam is now a husband and I'm glad to have him by my side at my wedding.
Groomsman
Kyle is Nathan's friend and teammate from Otterbein University. Kyle and I met freshman year, aside from training together, we would eat and play FIFA together, as well as share a couple classes. Kyle hosted several of us most weekends at his house to hang out and I'm grateful for the memories he supplied me with. I was happy to be in Kyle's wedding party when he got married in September, I'm glad to return the favor and have him in mine.
