join us at the local pub for a welcome drink and meal. the royal hotel is in capertee, about 20 minutes away from our venue and your accommodation. it's a beautiful historic pub run by a local family. we'll provide some light snacks to kick you off, and there'll be a toast from our families around 7pm. for international guests, think of the local pub dress code as crocodile dundee, but with more buttons and sleeves. last food orders are at 830!

ceremony + reception

we'll be marrying onsite, followed by cocktail drinks and a snack before the reception kicks off into the night. we hope you can go late with us! the dress code is black tie/formal (tuxedo not required) for adults, and country-western for nuggets. everything will be onsite down by the river, with a short walk between the ceremony and reception. we'll provide a map with more details as you arrive.
