San Diego Zoo

This is one of our favorite places to visit in San Diego! The layout is beautiful and it is rated as one of the best zoos in the world. If you love animals then this is the place for you!

SeaWorld San Diego

If you prefer animals of the sea variety then this would be the place for you to go. It is less than 10 minutes from the Town and Country Resort too!

Petco Park

If you know us well then you know we love attending baseball games (go Giants)! If you want to check out Petco Park while you’re in town, you will not be disappointed by this beautiful and spacious ballpark!

USS Midway Museum

On April 11, 1992 the Midway was decommissioned in San Diego and remained in storage in Bremerton, Washington until 2003 when it was donated to the San Diego Aircraft Carrier Museum organization. It opened as the USS Midway Museum in June 2004. It is a fantastic museum highlighting the ship’s contributions to American military operations.

Riverwalk Golf Club

This golf course is adjacent to the Town and Country Resort.

Seaport Village

It is the link between San Diego’s Bay and the city’s thriving downtown core. It’s a unique property with meandering walkways and beautiful plazas along with convenient parking and transportation stops. A 14 acre waterfront shopping, dining and entertainment complex recreating a harbor side setting of a century ago. Balboa Park

Balboa Park boasts 17 museums and cultural institutions with an incredible diversity of collections. From local San Diego history, to the history of flight, trains, or automobiles, to the workmanship of the old masters, and the arts, crafts, and culture of people near and far, recent and historical. There is no shortage of things to see and do!

Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography

Perched on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Birch Aquarium features more than 60 habitats of fishes and invertebrates from the cold waters of the Pacific Northwest to the tropical waters of Mexico and beyond. An oceanographic museum showcases research discoveries by Scripps Oceanography scientists on climate, earth, and ocean science and includes interactive elements.

Mission Basilica San Diego de Alcala

San Diego de Alcalá, the first of the twenty-one great California Missions, marks the birthplace of Christianity in the west coast of the United States. It is California's first Mission Church. This remarkable and significant historical shrine provides an understanding and appreciation of the beginning of Catholicism in this corner of the world, so remote from the Mother Country of Spain and yet so similar
