Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Lana Harris and Eric Combs
Meet our family and friends who are supporting us on this special day.

Emma Harris

Maid of Honor

Emma is Lana's sister, and has been Lana's favorite person ever since she was born when Lana was nearly fourteen years old. She went from being the cutest baby in existence to a powerhouse of a human, and Lana is so proud of her. She knows that her little sister will always be there for her (with careful attention to detail!) and is so excited for her to stand by her side on this important day.

Kristin Wren

Best Woman

Kristin and Eric first met while working as nurses in the pediatric ICU roughly 10 years ago, and their deep friendship quickly rooted through much joy and grief. This friendship continued to evolve while they attended anesthesia school together, and became coworkers again. Kristin has known each version of Eric throughout the last 10 years, and she will stand as his best-woman as he finally comes home to his best self with Lana.

Chelsea Blair

Matron of Honor

Chelsea and Lana have been best friends since they were fifteen years old, ever since they performed a hilariously cringy English project together in front of their class (please ask Chelsea about this story, she loves remembering it). Attending the same high school and then the same college, Chelsea and Lana figured out adolescence and adulthood together. Chelsea and her whole family became more like found family than friends. 20 years later, and Lana still has absolutely no idea what she would do without her.

James McIntyre

Groomsman

James and Eric met shortly after Eric moved to Carrollton, and their brotherhood was immediately tangible; as though they have known one another for multiple lifetimes. James knew that Lana and Eric needed to meet, and that knowing gave way to this love. Meeting one another when they needed it most, and recognizing the fact, James and Eric share a friendship that is best described by the words of Rumi: “The bond between true friends transcends time and space, for their love is a thread that connects them through the ages.”

Tayha Smith

Officiant

Tayha met Lana while they were both attending graduate school to become counselors, and has been one of her best friends for many years. Lana and Eric knew she was the perfect person to officiate their wedding, because they knew she would bring the same genuine, careful intention to the ceremony as she does to her incredible work with her clients. She honors what is true with an extraordinarily open heart, full of such deep love. Lana and Eric trust her completely to facilitate a ceremony that truly reflects their story.
