Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 29th, 2023. We need to get an accurate headcount of everyone so you are fed and have a seat at the reception. You can RSVP on the website. If the website isn't cooperating, text Lanny and/or Alex by April 29th, 2023.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a small parking lot near the venue that is reserved for grandparents/the elderly with mobility issues. YOU NEED A PERMIT TO PARK HERE. PEOPLE WITHOUT PERMITS WILL BE TURNED AWAY. Directions to that parking lot will be given personally to those parties. All other guests should park in the Organ Pavilion Parking lot. It is a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the venue. If you are traveling with a big group and many high heels, you can drop off the majority of your party using the carshare directions, park the car, and have the person with the most sensible shoes walk from the parking lot to the lower garden. We also recommend using a carshare to get to the venue. The driver can actually drive all the way to the entrance gate of the Lower Garden so you don't have to walk. There is a loop at the end of the driveway for them to turn around. If you are planning on a carshare, please use this address: 2220 Paseo De Oro, San Diego CA 92101 or Gold Gulch Parking Lot

Question

Are kids invited to the wedding?

Answer

Of course your little off-spring are welcomed! We want to share this day with you and your family. Just make sure that they are included in the RSVP. We also ask that you supervise the little ones in the garden aka don’t let them pick the flowers!

Question

What happens if I/someone in my family picks the flowers or feeds the koi?

Answer

DON'T DO IT. You may be tempted, but we will find you and make sure the appropriate consequences are taken. So, if you have kids or a significant other with busy hands, make the necessary arrangements/precautions.

Question

Are kids allowed at the happy hour?

Answer

Yes. You are able to bring your children to the happy hour. However, whether or not you'd want to is up to you all. In any case, children are allowed since it will be at a brewery.

Question

Do I have to go to all the events?

Answer

Absolutely not! We know that many of you have busy schedules and may have planned something else during the trip. These events are all optional and just give us a chance to see you all more (just incase we didn't get to chat much during the wedding). We also have guests that we don't see a lot during the year, so we created this schedule with lots of opportunities to meet.

Question

Do I have to be vaccinated?

Answer

For public health reasons, you should all get your vaccines! We would also appreciate you being vaccinated. There will be grandparents (both in their 90s) and the elderly at our wedding. There will be young children there too. They don't want covid, you don't want covid, we don't want covid. Regardless of whether you are vaccinated or not vaccinated, you should be conscientious about how you are feeling. If you are feeling sick at all, we love you, BUT STAY HOME! We'll FaceTime you or Zoom you (for our android friends).
