In September 2019, Helen moved from LA to Oakland to start her new job, and as the new year of 2020 was starting, she ventured into the wide world of online dating. Little did she know that she would match with her college roommate Melanie's cousin, Zach! 
 Zach returned home to SF in 2017 after ten years in Washington State, and he was excited to reconnect with his family and friends. He, too, began online dating, and after a long string of uneventful dates, he crossed paths with Helen! 
 Helen and Zach were lucky enough to have five normal dates before COVID hit and a local shelter-in-place order was issued. They spent the next two weeks texting, calling and watching Terrace House on Netflix, but eventually decided take the leap and merge their social bubbles. 
 Their relationship has been rich, even with the limitations that the pandemic placed on them. They've been able to share in their passion for traveling, going to places like Napa, NYC, Hawaii, and most recently, Portugal, where Zach proposed to Helen. 
 They are excited to share their relationship with you on their wedding day and with more gatherings to come!
