Lampkin Legacy

No coincidence could ever unfold as divinely as a love rooted in the compassion of two servant hearted people. Drawn to each other through serving their community but bonded to each other through intentional companionship that evolved into love, Tim and Jessica found home in each other's hearts during the Autumn of 2021. Tim met Jessica while supporting her business at his company’s event. She celebrated the wonderful work he was doing for Black owned businesses via a social media post after their brief in-person encounter. Jessica did not imagine their interaction would lead to a future connection after seeing each other again at a business summit. Almost missing her presence, Tim caught Jessica on the tail end of the summit and extended her an invitation to lunch. She agreed and that one lunch outing became a weekly occasion. There was a vibrancy between them that established consistency in their communication. Jessica’s alluring smile and warmth captivated Tim while his thoughtfulness brought her peace of mind. They were smitten, a beautiful balance of heart and mind. Over time, their desire to be in each other’s presence made it easy for them to make their outings official dates. The ease of their connection was challenged by obstacles that in many ways could make or break a blossoming relationship. Tim and Jessica’s connection grew stronger through the obstacles. Long distance proved that no distance could stand in their way and an unexpected season of grief for Jessica and Zoë showed just how willing Tim was to be a solid foundation for them when their world shook. It took courage for Jessica to show up vulnerably and let Tim in when grief was convincing her otherwise. One step and one day at a time, Tim encouraged. Fast forward to 2024 and each step and day has led them to a shared love where support, joy, service, thoughtfulness and kindness continues to empower their relationship.
