Ashlyn

Matron of Honor

I first met Megan 8 years ago when we began working for the same company. After a well-known and hilariously rocky start, she came to my rescue one day and our friendship began. I still remember so clearly that first friendly interaction, followed by our first day working “together” and then our first day spending time together outside of work. Calling her my best friend is an understatement, as anybody who knows me knows that Megan is one of the most important things in my entire life. From unruly 19 year olds experiencing adulthood for the first time, to homeowners and mothers and wives, she has been the thing most constant and every day I thank my lucky stars that she exists. To me, she deserves the world, and when I met Jeremy I knew that he would do everything he could to give her that. Meeting him was also like meeting a long lost brother, he fit so perfectly into our little group that it’s hard to imagine what life was like before they found each other. I’m eternally grateful to Jeremy simply for the fact that I know Megan is loved, safe, and never lonely wherever she may be. I can’t wait to experience more of what life has to offer with them as a part of our family, to love their future babies like they love mine, and to continue to watch their relationship flourish with each passing year.

I’m going to be honest and say I cannot, for the life of me, remember when I first met Jeremy and Megan. What I do know for certain is that I felt an instant connection with both of them from start. Now I’m a true believer in that no relationship is perfect, but Jeremy and Megan are about as damn close as you can get. Having the opportunity to see them first hand grow as individuals and bring all the things they’ve learned over the years, whether together or separately, into their relationship such as communication, patience, tenderness, and most importantly their unwavering love for each other has continued to make their partnership flourish and will for years to come. In experiencing that I’ve learned A TON about myself and my own relationships and has helped guide me in more ways than one. And I can’t wait to keep learning, growing, laughing, crying, enjoying family dinners, watching Jeremy and Trav attempt to wrestle each other to the ground as Megan and I watch in awe and give each other subtle glances knowing we’re thinking the exact same thing (on a semi-weekly occasion), staying up until 1am playing guess that song, and much much more. I have gotten so darn lucky to call these two family and very soon have them officially be my brother and sister in law, (future) crazy aunt and uncle to my children, and call myself the (future) crazy aunt to theirs. I love the both of you with all my heart and am honored to have our lives forever intertwined.❤️

Getting to know Megan over the years has been nothing but a joy. I have found a new sister in her. Also there is nothing more heartwarming than seeing your little brother get married. Congratulations on your wedding, and I wish you two all the best!

When Megan and Jeremy first started dating, I knew that they were a perfect match for each other. Yes, I was only about 10 years old, but I liked to think that I had a pretty good sense of judgment when it came to my friends’ and family’s partners. I was actually pretty harsh when my family members would start dating someone new, and I would tell them, “you could do better” and “let me fight him before I decide if he’s worthy”. But when Jeremy came along, all of that was kind of forgotten, because he is genuinely one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. My ten year old self was pretty impressed, and I guess I didn’t have to fight him before knowing that he was worthy of dating my beautiful, strong, independent, wonderful, amazing, spectacular, marvelous, gorgeous cousin (Megan). And now, after years of spending the holidays around them, I am absolutely certain that there are no two people who deserve each other more than Megan and Jeremy. Congrats guys!! Can’t wait for the wedding, but don’t let my dad get his hands on a microphone 💗💗

Where to begin. Well if we're being technical we both started as twinkles in our dad's eye. First race I ever won. Being the big brother I always gave him a hard time. He loved soccer I loved football. We all know which one's better! However, as we grew older we got closer. Family & friends have always been important to me. Jeremy somehow found a way to weasel his way into both. He's my brother and my friend. He may be the littler brother but I haven't always looked to him for advice. He's helped me more than most would ever understand. One thing that I've always wanted for him was to find his soul mate. He is the most deserving human I have ever met. Flash forward a few years and I was blessed with the opportunity to meet his person. Megan where to begin. Y'all are two peas in a pod. You complete one another. You're an amazing person. You hit every note when it comes to things Jeremy. Couldn't imagine calling anyone else my sister in law. Well the list isn't long but don't worry you're at the top!!

Oh Moogooban and Jerm. I met the lovely Mrs Megan, shortly after my wife and I began dating, in little ole Arlington. I had just gotten a haircut and looked “bald” and Megan showed the common curiosity to not say anything.. to my face. I met Jeremy in a hot tub in Eagle creek where we hit it off instantly and where Megan and I bonded over our significant others acting like children in the pool. We have gone through so much together over the past several, from Christmas to you meeting our brand new babies. You both mean so much to our family and I cannot express how much I appreciate having you both in our life. I love you both very much you big ole nerds

These two goobers getting married is something I knew was going to happen very early on after meeting Jeremy. He has been an irreplaceable addition to our family and it brings me nothing but joy and love that our families will now be permanently joined together. Me and Megan were never always as close as we are now, but I’m glad I get to see this version of her as one of my best friends in life. It’s hard to even remember much of the times when we didn’t like each other because its been so long. But now im just happy to see her with the one guy on earth who has enough patience to put up with her!

The most prominent thing I can think of when asked “how did I meet Jeremy” is when I was at my house and he came over, and I was playing a game in Megans room, and Jeremy stayed in there with me when she left. He just watched me play and we ended up just messing around and laughing with eachother while Megan was out of the room talking to my dad. From then on I always thought that he is the perfect addition to this family, just based on how I felt around him, and I could never think of anyone better to be with my sister.
