In marrying Nicole, Niklas' twin, Patrik, also found a perfect sister for Lamia. Nikki and Lamia have found much in common, such as their love of dogs, Lamia's need for a hair expert and playing iPhone games.

Anusha and Lamia officially met on MySpace back in 2008 when that was an actual thing. They bonded over their love of the song “Got Money” by Lil Wayne and went through every awkward phase imaginable together, including Picnik edited photos.

Helen and Lamia lived on the same floor of Laben Hall their freshman year at UC Davis and immediately bonded over their shared love of cats, grunge music and feminism. They quickly became inseparable and lived together their sophomore and junior years of college.

Nikita and Lamia also lived on the same floor of Laben Hall in their freshman year at UC Davis. Nikita’s sense of humor and their wholesome friendship is what helped Lamia through college.

Alyza was born when Lamia was 7 years old. Lamia remembers her large head very well. As they grew older, they found more common ground and became friends, which is pretty convenient considering they have to be cousins.

As cousins, Lamia and Sana mostly tolerated each other as kids, but as they grew older, they found more in common and became close friends. Besides sharing genetics, they share a love of California, food and chatting the night away.

Although Katy was only 6 when Lamia met her, they very quickly found a close kinship, possibly because Lamia always let Katy use the Snapchat app on her phone and also always let Katy braid her hair. Lamia feels lucky to gain a niece, and unlucky that she is already shorter than her.

Niklas met Patrik on May 24th, 1994 at the hospital when their mother started experiencing severe stomach pains, and have been in contact ever since.

After playing on mediocre hockey teams for a decade, Niklas arrived at UC Davis at the same time as Gordon to ensure that both would play on a slightly-better-than-mediocre hockey team. Oh, and they hung out together here and there for a lot of years.

At first, Niklas was intimidated that someone entered his life that seemed to know more useless facts than he did. But once he accepted that Ed was going to marry his sister, Niklas instead ganged up with him to preach the superiority of UC Davis over UCLA (Jenny's university).

As a freshman in college, Niklas needed lots of people to pay attention to his antics. Luckily for him, Jakob was able to do just that.

Late into his UC Davis hockey career, Niklas joined forces with Kazunori (AKA Kaz) to win a few more hockey games. Through sheer luck, Niklas was able to lock Kaz down to live with for two years, and do some damage along the way.

Shortly after meeting Patrik, Niklas was introduced to Mike by his mother. This fateful meeting led them to become roommates for a number of years.

As the nephew to Niklas, Everett is already following in Niklas' footsteps in his love of video games, Star Wars, and sports, on top of being a shy child. His bursts of energy are a welcome addition to cheer on the ceremony.

Reagan, the human equivalent to a sparkly unicorn, was the perfect decision to lay the groundwork for Lamia's arrival into the ceremony. With her infectious laugh and bubbly personality, she will be sure to get the party started!

Wyatt, Niklas' nephew by his sister Jenny, is a grumpy old man stuck in a Kindergartner's body, and that is what we love the most about him. Due to his mature nature, we are more than confident in his ability to keep our wedding rings safe and sound throughout the ceremony.

When we thought, "Who do we think will curate the best atmosphere for our wedding ceremony?" we immediately knew it couldn't be anyone besides Niklas' sister, Jenny. Full of quick wit, immune to flat jokes, and outspoken, Jenny is sure to keep the evening joyous and engaging!
