Maid of Honor
The bride's little sister aka bodyguard. She makes friends everywhere she goes and is the self proclaimed "funnier sister" Ashley will be easy to spot, as she is always the life of the party!
Best Man
Since their undergrad days at ODU, Justin and the groom have been best friends. A memory that sticks out (to Justin only) is when LaMarr chose to not be his partner on a group project. It has been nine years and he still has not let it go...lol
Bridesmaid
Christine is the sister of the groom and as some would say his “twin.” She has a heart of gold and takes pleasure in making people laugh. She was blessed enough to have grown up with the groom’s jokes, pranks, and million and one questions; now she has the privilege of reliving it with her own son Ayden. (God Bless her) Just look for the cute kid spinning around like Batman and the lady behind him shaking her head.
Bridesmaid
During undergrad, Stephanie was introduced to Donia for French tutoring and they were inseparable ever since. They have countless memories together - from going to Zara between classes to visiting Paris! Throughout this whole process, she has been 5 steps ahead of the bride, anticipating her every need. She is loving, thoughtful, tells it like it is, and you won’t always understand her English but that’s okay, lol! We love you Donia!
Groomsman
Since 2008, Mr. Reggie has not only been a mentor but he has been a big brother to the groom. From teaching him how to be a fearless servant leader to being a sounding board for many of the groom’s countless visions. His support, encouragement, and prayers are appreciated and never taken for granted.
Groomsman
Within two weeks of moving to DC, the groom met Yelak at Metro Church in Virginia. Since then he has been like an older brother to the groom, cutting his hair, encouraging him to volunteer, and being on the receiving end of all LaMarr’s jokes. Yelak is easy to spot, as he will be standing like he is on secretive service detail.
Father of the Bride
Growing up, he never missed a beat - attending every field trip, award ceremony, and parent-teacher conference. He taught Stephanie how to ride a bike, how to swim, and how to spend time with God. For the last 29 years, he has raised and loved his daughters with the patience of a saint! (Lord knows he needed it)
Mother of the Bride
She is not just the bride's mom, she is her #BFF She supported all of Stephanie's hobbies, whether it was dance class, kiddie karate, painting, traveling, baking cupcakes, or guitar lessons. While she was constantly spoiling her girls, she also made sure they learned to be humble and give selflessly.
Father of the Groom
LaMarr Jr. is the groom’s father and his hero. The groom constantly looks to him for guidance and wisdom on how to handle life. Although he won’t admit it, the groom taught him how to cook.
Mother of the Groom
Vickie is the supportive and compassionate mother of the groom. Her tough yet gentle love has propelled the groom to reach his full potential. She is ALWAYS walking down memory lane and sharing funny and embarrassing stories of the groom.
Wedding Planner
Courtney is the woman behind the scenes, making everything happen! Her creativity, professionalism, and ability to keep the bride at ease has been amazing. Dantus & Co. Events https://www.dantusandco.com/
