One hot summer day Tiffany was at work minding her own business when in walked the man of her dreams. She just didn’t know it at first. She introduced herself to him and he told her oh I work here you don’t have to greet me. She told him I know, you’re Lamar. He seemed confused... how on earth did she know his name??? They went their separate ways that day. Until it was time to leave. She offered him a ride home... it was the middle of a humid Ohio summer and after all it wasn’t out of her way. They talked the whole 20 minute ride. The next day they kept talking in between work. He seemed like someone she had known forever. She was someone he could relax around. After a week of flirting someone decided to take matters into their own hands and post a question on Facebook 😁. Too bad he fell asleep and didn’t see it until she lost her nerve. The next day they finally talked on the phone... and they kept talking... he even laughed at her when she made a weird noise ( he swears he didn’t but he did!) they talked and talked and finally he realized that he had to work in the morning. He invited her to breakfast. He didn’t think she would show. In his words, she was younger (not much) and he was not in the best shape (unshaven and a little scraggly). She was late... but she went to breakfast. She was late because she was nervous. She was nervous because already she could she herself falling for him. They went to breakfast and she smiled the entire day. He’s managed to keep her smiling. In the few years they’ve been together he’s kept her smiling through medical issues and many exotic dates (hospital visits) and even surgery. She’s been an unexpected surprise in his life and he was her dream come true. July 20, 2019 will be their 3 year anniversary but also the beginning of their life as husband and wife. They are excited at what the future holds but know no matter what life has for them they can conquer it together.
