The Welcome

On-site location: The patio of the main Event Lodge and the lawn/fire pit down in the gorge. Come by and say hi on your way in! There will be snacks, refreshing beverages, music, a (likely superfluous) bonfire, and lawn games.

The Pre-Game

Get the celebration started! As the early hotel shuttle arrives, we're opening the bar on the Event Lodge patio at 4pm. Get in the spirit of the evening with some drinks, lawn games, music, maybe a little waterfall photo moment, or just chill out in the air-conditioned lodge.
The Wedding

Ceremony begins promptly at 5:00pm! Attire: We’re getting married outdoors—on grass, under the late-summer sky, cue the romance—then partying inside with the sweet relief of AC. We're going all out (full gown/suit...sneakers), and you can too! Late summer in Ohio means dress for heat, whimsy, and your own brand of fabulous. Flats encouraged. Fancy dress on display admired. Comfort applauded.
Reception to follow on-site in the Event Lodge: Live band! Bring your dancing shoes, bring your appetite (cocktail hour bites and dinner will be served), and bring yourself. All we've ever wanted in our wedding was to invite all our best people to the best party we could throw for them, and we're just so excited you're coming. Transpo and parking: Shuttles to and from the hotel are available (see Travel tab for details) as well as on-site parking. Ride apps are not available, so please plan accordingly. Weather/location: we WILL be on grass and out in the sun, please consider your attire and footwear (and sunscreen). *Rain plan: Ceremony to take place in the Event Lodge at Crockett's Run Mobility: We will have golf carts available and ready for any guests in need of some assistance.
The After Party

Bonfire time in the gorge! There will be late-night, post-dancing pizza (with some gluten-free and vegan options). We can keep going after midnight, that's just the last shuttle time ;)

The Breakfast

On-site location: Travis Lodge (to the left just inside the entrance to Crockett's) We couldn't let you leave without a bagel, obviously. We'll also have some pastries, coffee, and good company. Whether dashing to the airport or hanging for the day, come through and say hi!
The Hangover

It's a holiday weekend, we're not rushing out! We're staying until Monday morning, and would love to see your face a little longer. Hocking Hills is a summer vacation draw for a reason: there's a ton to do. If you want to take your time leaving and hang with us, plans include the following: A golf outing: if you'd like to hit the links, please contact the Father of the Bride, John Lalley (jflalley@aol.com) to get on the list! A hike at Hocking Hills State Park: honestly, a must-see. The entire park itself is spectacular and well worth the visit, with easy and all-level trails available, and a VERY COOL visitor center. Old Man's Cave is one of the biggest draws of the area, although it is a moderately difficult trail (Google if that is a concern!). Also available for fun: antique shopping, mini-golf, swimming holes, endless hiking trails, a couple of spas, and a brewery/distillery. In the evening, we'll be having an informal leftovers party/cookout at Crockett's Run, come hang!
