The way Justin and Laura met is a story that no rom-com could copy. What began as a night out for two complete strangers ended up turning into nights out for forever. It was November 4th, 2022, and that evening the Houston Astros and Philadelphia Phillies were set to play in Game 6 of the World Series. Being an Astros fan, Laura was out at a Houston backer-bar downtown to watch the game, called Society & Sports. Being a baseball fan in general, Justin randomly happened to come to the same bar to meet up with friends to do the same. As fate sometimes has a way of doing its thing, Justin ended up being sat next to Laura, and the rest is history. They chatted non-stop throughout the game; Justin impressing Laura with a random 6th inning bet, Laura impressing Justin by how many Dos Equis pitchers she can drink in one sitting. From there, it's been non-stop laughter and adventure for these two. With so much love added in between, that they added Marla Hooch to their family back in June 2024. How can you not be romantic about baseball? Laura and Justin are beyond excited to have everyone join in the celebration of their forever chapter. This love is a sure thing.
