The "attire" is formal or cocktail BUT truly, anything you feel comfortable and confident in goes!! We just want everyone to have the best time and so if you feel like dressing up, dress up! And if you like to keep it more casual, we love those vibes too! We just can't wait to celebrate with you!
We have arranged for two buses to take guests from The Omni Hotel, to Rockwell on the River! The first bus is scheduled to depart at 3:00pm (which we realize is early!) Ideally this bus will be reserved for mostly family members who need to be at the venue early for pictures but others are welcome to hop on too! The second bus will depart The Omni Hotel at 4:15pm. Don't miss this easy and free transportation and we will see you at the alter!!
If you get to Rockwell on the River early and they are not yet letting guests in to be seated, please bop over to Metropolitan Brewery (it is connected to the venue) and grab a beer! This is also where our after party will take place after the reception!
There is street parking available on Rockwell street and there are some parking spots across from the venue entrance along Rockwell street as well. All the spots are first come, first serve!
Your best bet would be to take an Uber or Lyft! But Chicago also has great public transportation that you can look into. Keep in mind, it will probably take 45-60min to get from downtown (where the hotels are located) to the venue via bus or train and they are constantly delayed! But if you decide to go this route, there is the option of bus or the L-train!
Henry and I have also arranged buses to take guests back to The Omni Hotel at the end of the night! The buses will begin picking up guests from Rockwell on the River/Metropolitan Brewery at 9:00pm and will continue making loops to downtown until 1:00am! We want everyone to be safe, so please take the bus or call an Uber/Lyft at the end of the night if you have been enjoying beverages!
Of course!! The Omni was just where we assumed most our guests would stay and where we are staying too! But, The Hampton Inn is only about a 3-5 min. walk from The Omni, so if you would like to get on the bus for guests, please just plan accordingly to walk a few blocks in time to make the pick-up!

Dinner will be stations style! So if you have dietary restrictions, please just assess the food options carefully when making your plate or ask the staff about specific ingredients!
