Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal/black tie optional. In easier terms dresses and suits (no jeans). The theme is SPRING so don't be afraid to wear fun spring colors or patterns.

Question

what is the kids policy?

Answer

I have no quarrels with you wanting to have your children with you but this is an adult event and no accommodations will be made for the children(food, music, drinks, language). If they are present you are responsible for watching them and making sure they are respectful for any part of the ceremony and reception ie. no dancing on the dance floor during first dances and parent dances, if they are crying or being noisy during the ceremony please take a walk as to no disrupt. There is no childcare at this wedding so please just make sure you are watching them as this wedding is on a farm with open air areas and large animals nearby.

Question

What about parking? Can I Uber my drunk ass?

Answer

There is plenty of parking on property but we are also close to downtown San Marcos so Ubering is very easy and normally inexpensive in the area due to college life. Please remember it's an open bar so having a post wedding plan would be a good idea. Also note that this venue likely has a wedding the next day so you CAN NOT leave your cars on the property if you decide to drive there and Uber home.

Question

Smoking policy?

Answer

There is a strict no smoking policy, including marijana (medical or not). Nothing may be smoked on the wedding premises as the entire party will immediately be asked to leave and we will be fined. Vaping is not allowed underneath the tented areas.

Question

Firearm Policy?

Answer

No firearms allow on property as stated by our venue, please be aware that if this rule is broken it may result in the immediate end of the reception and a fine for us to pay.

Question

what is the phones policy?

Answer

We ask that you refrain from videoing/photographing the ceremony as we have professionals to do that and we want you to enjoy and be in the moment. Anytime after that please take as many pictures as possible! We want you to enjoy the party and take some photos to remember it by! We would love for you to share any photos from the night with us.

Question

What happens if the weather is bad?

Answer

We will be watching the weather like hawks all the way up to the day of the wedding and will keep any guests updated if there is any changes in the time of the wedding. The only outdoor areas are the ceremony and the cocktail hour so if we have to adjust everything under the reception tent we will, otherwise if it is raining(no lightning) everything with be as normal just a little wet. Extreme weather may cause us to move the date and we will be trying to do everything in our power not to do that.
