How and where did you first meet? S: At work in the cafeteria. L: At work. He kept walking by my desk until I finally stopped him. What was your first impression of your fiancé? S: She looked very stern by the way that she walked. L: He’s cute, but probably shady. What did you do for a first date? S: We ate lunch in the cafeteria. She was being crazy and saying that I was whack. I was nervous and didn’t know what to say. I had been anticipating this moment, so I knew I had to take my chance and ask. L: We were in the cafeteria line and I asked him if he was going to pay for my lunch. He paid and I walked away. I told myself not to be mean, so I walked back and asked if he had plans. We sat down in the cafeteria and he was acting weird. I asked him what was wrong, and he said that he was nervous. Before lunch ended, we had our first date plans. When did you know (he or she) was the one? S: When we made homemade pizza and played the Wii. L: My apartment building was damaged by a tornado in 2020. I didn’t have power but I was still staying there. He came to check on me and it was pitch black getting into to my apartment, and a little chilly. He would not let me stay there, and made me come to his crib. It was 2 weeks before power was restored. Does he/she have any quirks? S: She’s a little different. She has a mind of her own, and is in her own world a lot. L: He breaks out in a dance at any given moment. What are the things that you love most about your fiancé? S: Her directness. L: His heart is huge…for everyone! In what ways are you most alike? S: Being on time. Open to trying new things. Helping people. L: We like to laugh, and try new things. Being stubborn. In what ways are you most different? S: I’m more impulsive. I like to shop and I like to dress up. L: I’m more transparent with voicing whatever is happening in my brain. I like to wear lounge clothes 95% of the time. What are some memorable experiences you’ve had as a couple? S: Going to her hometown, meeting her family and friends, seeing her old stomping grounds, and eating Cassano’s pizza. L: Taking him to Atlanta to meet my mom and brother for the first time in person. My mom saw us kiss and short circuited. We laugh about this often to this day! What are you looking forward to on your wedding day! S: Seeing her walk down the aisle! L: Seeing him happy!
