"From our first date, Greg and I both knew that the Adirondacks were special to us. With his family going to Lake George every year and my family spending summers at Raquette Lake, we bonded over our love for the area. One day, swept up in the romance of looking at wedding venues, I found The Inn at Erlowest and said to Greg 'I found this really pretty castle in Lake George! If we ever get married, that would be the perfect place to have it!' Greg looked at me with a chuckle and said, 'You know that's directly across the street from Twin Birches where my family stays every year, right?' Thinking he must have meant 'down the road a ways' I confidently said, 'Greg, I wouldn't miss a CASTLE!' Well, long story short, I missed a castle directly next to where we had spent the past summer swimming in the lake.
