Our colors are ivory, burgundy, and old gold; however, we're not sticklers for them. Just think red, yellow, and white. However, please do not wear white to the event to reduce the possibility that you are confused as either the bride or the groom.
It starts at 4 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. Only the wedding party and certain vendors will be allowed access to the building before 3 p.m. Guests are allowed to enter the venue at 3:30 p.m. You are welcome to leave earlier or come fashionably late, however, we will be shutting things down by no later than 8:50 p.m.
Yes, we have paid for an open bar to be available for the reception. Please have your ID if you would like to partake and know your limits. The bartender will cut you off if needed. Please have a designated driver (DD), call for a rideshare, or book a room at one of the nearby hotels.
No, we would move the wedding ceremony inside the venue if the weather looks bad for that day i.e. heavy rain or thunderstorm. If it looks like it could be dangerous (i.e. snow, hail, or sleet), we will speak with the venue and update everyone as soon as possible.
Yes, but please be aware that there is a river and forest area around the venue. In short: please watch your kids and educate them about the dangers of playing near certain areas without adult supervision.
Yes, parking is available at the site but please carpool to avoid "too many vehicles, too little space".
Please confirm your attendance by no later than the end of September
Semi-formal preferred but not enforced. Just please keep in mind that this is a GA winter wedding. I cannot predict the weather so please wear something warm and practical.
While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment for our ceremony.
There will be a variety of options available during the reception. If you are still concerned, please inform us prior so we can discuss alternatives with the caterer.
No, all of that will be handled by the venue and other vendors. If there are leftovers, you are more than welcome to get a second plate or to-go bag.
The number of people included for your invite will be noted on your invitation. No additional people should be added unless already approved by the bride, groom or wedding planner.
