Mar", as I call her is another cousin who is also one of my very best friends and like a sister. She made me a mom for the first time by asking me to be her daughter's godmother. We've been through so much together, but our bond has only gotten stronger. She's there when I need her and my "ride or die"/"go-getter" friend. I can't imagine my day without her by my side !

I never remember not knowing Marsheila. We went from grade school through high school together, as well as we were raised in the same church. She's my "fruz", a term we use because we are friends, but also cousins. She is one of my best friends. She's the on-time friend and one of the best advice givers and a confidant. We have shared so many memories together and I can't imagine my day without her!

Jerica and I became friends around 8th grade. We grew closer in high school and even went to the same college....oh, what a time we had !! Jerica is a counselor by profession, but she's also my personal counselor and sometimes has to help me see things from a different perspective. College and beyond is when we really developed a strong bond. I can't imagine my day without her!

Clarissa and I first met in college at Georgia Southwestern State University. We both were interested in science and faced some of the same challenges. When I decided to change my major to biology, I transferred to The Fort Valley State University. To my surprise, guess who I ran into on my first day of class?! CLARISSA....she had transferred with the same major and we've been friends ever since ! We have spent numerous hours together studying, completing scientific research, and critiquing each other's scientific papers and projects. I could not have completed my senior research project without her ! I’m ecstatic that she's a part of my day !

Monica and I first met in 2006 at Georgia Southwestern State University. We lived right across the hall from each other our freshman year, but we became friends and "roommates" because I stayed in her room most of the time. My first thought of her was, "Who is this girl?" She is awesome and is one of my business oriented friends. Most of my BEST college memories/experiences involve Monica. She is the life of the party and taught me how to dance. I'm so happy that she's a part of my day !
