If getting the COVID-19 vaccine is not part of your life plan, we fully support your decision and look forward to celebrating with you another time! We will continue to stay up to date on the evolving regulations in the state of New Hampshire and will ensure compliance with all state safety requirements. If you would be more comfortable wearing a mask to our wedding, we encourage you to do so!
Guests can begin arriving at The Wilder at 4:00PM ET. The ceremony will begin at 4:45PM ET, so we encourage you to grab a drink and wait for the show to start!
Absolutely! Bring 'em if you want to, or leave 'em at home if you want a weekend away. Please keep the environment in mind as you're making that decision - all of the wedding events (except breakfast) will be held in bars. The Wilder can also accommodate kids meals, if needed. Please let us know if you'll need one!
We will not be offering transportation to and from hotels. All hotels are between 1.5-2 miles from our venues, and there are plenty of transportation options! The Hanover Garage is a large public parking facility directly across the street from The Wilder (2 Hanover St, Portsmouth, NH 03801), and there are a number of other public parking garages in downtown Portsmouth. Uber and Lyft both operate in Portsmouth, and many hotels offer shuttle options. If you anticipate the possibility that it may be unwise to drive by the end of the evening, we STRONGLY recommend using rideshare services. Please note - this weekend is also UNH Alumni weekend, so please take advantage of shuttles and rideshare services.
All wedding events will be held indoors; Sunday Coffee and Quiche may be outdoors, weather pending. That being said, we will be walking 4 blocks (0.2mi) from The Wilder to The Press Room on Saturday night for the reception.
