What is the dress code?

Dress to impress! Our wedding is black-tie so ladies should wear floor length dresses or gowns and men should wear formal tuxedos. We kindly ask that ladies refrain from wearing any shades of white. Can I rent a tuxedo locally?

Yes! Boise offers a variety of rental options for tuxedos. Simply visit any local tuxedo shop to have your measurements taken, then call ahead to order your tux for pick-up upon arrival. Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only those named on your invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one, they will be listed on your RSVP.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, weather permitting, while the reception will be held indoors. Both venues are located on the same property, just a few minutes apart.

What is the weather like in Garden Valley?

Answer

May is a beautiful time of year to visit Garden Valley. Average temperatures range in the 60s and 70s. The mountain air can get chilly in the evening, so be prepared with a light jacket or sweater.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 5 PM. Please arrive at 4:30 PM to allow for adequate time to get parked and be seated. We appreciate your punctuality to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Is there parking for the wedding?

Yes! H5 Ranch will direct you where to park on the property.

Can I take pictures and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you put your phone away during the ceremony. We have hired an excellent photographer and videographer who will capture all of those special moments and we promise to share them with you after the wedding. Feel free to take pictures before and after the ceremony!

Are you providing transportation to and from hotels?

Answer

Because we do not have central lodging, we will not be organizing a group shuttle. However, we hope you will be able to fully enjoy the festivities. If you find your group in need of transportation to Garden Valley area lodging at the end of the evening, we have designated drivers at the ready!
