A few months later, Zac came to check things out in TN. In 2 short days we toured Nashville, Chattanooga, Knoxville, and made it to the Smokies!

Lainey returned the favor and came to ski with Zac. We both knew we loved spending time together and decided maybe TN and MT weren't all that far after all. We started dating New Year's Eve of 2023!

I told Zac I'd take him to Paris next time he visited... Paris, TN that is!

In our first few months of dating, we had the chance to go stomp around in the Tetons during the shoulder season. It became a special place as we first said those three special words on this trip!

We quickly began racking up flights, travel days, and extended phone calls to make the most of living 1,941 miles apart. (Here we'd met in Denver, CO)

Both being adventurous, we made the most of our time together! (Leavenworth, WA)

We quickly learned that we had the most fun when we were together - no matter where we were or what the weather was like! (Mt Rainier, WA)

We met at a wedding, and have been to a few since (Congrats Scot and Alaina!!), and we can't wait to tear up the dance floor after saying I do to each other!

Between the two of us 40 flights were taken in 2024. (Chattanooga, TN)

We finally started closing the distance and drove from TN to MT together so Lainey could start her final clinical in Columbia Falls, MT. We were so excited to be closer (only 153 miles apart).

But one of us had a little secret...

And the same spot we first said "I love you" became the spot we said YES to forever, exactly one year after saying YES to each other!

We have had so much love, support, and encouragement along the way. We can't wait to start out forever and and are so lucky to have you there to celebrate with us!
