We officially met at Kent State University's Harry Potter Fest, but neither of use remember meeting each other then (Lainey was too distracted by Ricky's dog-in-training, Waffle). Then, Lainey started classes at Kent State and joined a service fraternity called Alpha Phi Omega, which Ricky had already been a part of two semesters. Thanks to mutual friends , we became very close. We were with each other almost everyday, and constantly going on fun college adventures. Two years later, we got engaged in Washington D.C.
