Health / Covid-19 Update

The Wedding Website of Lainee Tarbe and Michael Jones
Dear Friends and Family, As we navigate a world where life is changing from one day to the next, we want to make sure you stay informed about our wedding plans. Please continue to visit our wedding website: www.zola.com/wedding/laineeandmichael for updates. We're working with St. Agnes to livestream our ceremony should you want to watch the ceremony and celebrate with us in spirit. We will be adding more details as we receive them. One thing that cannot change, though, is the love that connects us all through time and space. Love, Lainee and Michael
Question

Are we planning to postpone the wedding should there be a spike in Covid-19 cases?

Answer

Although we don't know what the future holds, Lord willing, we're planning to be married on Friday, October 2. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Question

What are the safety guidelines at St. Agnes for the ceremony?

Answer

Social distancing at St. Agnes allows a total of 16 pews available in the Church, 8 on each side of the center aisle. To maintain a safe-distance we are being asked to ensure there are two empty pews between occupied pews.  To help ensure the safety of all we ask that these guidelines be followed: - Households can sit together, those living under the same roof. - Guests should wait at the door for an usher to escort them down the center aisle to the first available pew behind the bridal party and family. Ushers will seat guests from front of the Church to the back. - Wearing a protective mask is required by all in attendance upon entering the Church and throughout the course of the Mass. You should only remove the mask to consume the Eucharist and once you have exited the Church. - For Holy Communion, guests remain seated in their respective pews to help maintain proper social distancing as the Priest and minister will navigate through the empty pews.

Question

What can guests expect upon entering Loose Mansion? Will temperatures be taken?

Answer

Loose Mansion staff will administer temperature tests for all guests (including bridal party and family) and staff before they enter the mansion. Anyone who has a fever must be asked to leave. To help avoid asking anyone to leave, we will also encourage our staff to take temperatures before coming to the mansion and suggest that clients request the same of their guests (particularly bridal party and family). Some couples and immediate family members will self-quarantine or at least limit social activities during the two weeks leading up to their event.

Question

Will guests be required to wear a mask at the reception at Loose Mansion?

Answer

Yes, guests will be asked to wear masks while in the mansion unless seated at their dinner tables. Loose Mansion staff will wear masks in areas open to guests. Reasonable exceptions are understandable for photography needs.

Question

How will reception seating be arranged?

Answer

At this time, Loose Mansion is able to accommodate as many as 50% occupancy limit. This allows 225 guests in the building if we can maintain social distancing guidelines. While guests are dining at Loose Mansion, the same guidelines that apply to a restaurant apply to us. However, our events are all private events with all guests being invited by a client. While normal social distancing rules apply, they can apply to “clusters” of people. These clusters, as defined by Loose Mansion’s client, can obviously be spouses but also immediate family in the same household. They can also be extended family members, co-workers or another group who have been together and/or plan to travel to the event in the same vehicle. A wedding party or another group may arrive on the same bus and can be viewed as a cluster. People in a cluster can sit together at a dinner table or next to each other during a wedding ceremony. They can feel comfortable dancing and mingling together without social distancing.

Question

How will food and beverage be served at the reception at Loose Mansion?

Answer

Meals will be plated, and appetizers will be served only to seated guests. All beverages will be served to the tables by staff, and walk-up bars will be closed. Loose Mansion may use a combination of butler-passing available options and taking drink orders.

Question

Will there be a band, DJ or dancing?

Answer

A jazz quartet will be playing throughout the reception. Per Loose Mansion, clusters (spouses and immediate family in the same household, as well as extended family members, co-workers or another group who have been together and/or plan to travel to the event in the same vehicle) can feel comfortable dancing and mingling together without social distancing.
