RSVP:

Answer

We ask that all guests RSVP on our website via the RSVP section no later than January 15, 2025. The QR code on the back of the Save the Date and Invitation will take you to our wedding website.

Cocktail Attire. We ask that our guests wear Black or Jewel Tones to enhance the mountains in group photos.

March tends to be a sunny and snowy month in Estes Park, averaging 8” of snow on the ground. The average highs for March range between 47-59 degrees with lows 24-34 degrees. We will update this section as the wedding approaches.

Accomodations:

The Black Canyon Property has in a 1-, 2- or 3- bedroom condos and the Inn for convenience. Uber and Lyft are not available in Estes Park. The lodging does not allow room blocks so I would recommend making arrangements well in advance of the wedding. All guests receive a 10% discount on lodging at Black Canyon Properties with the Discount Code below: 10% Discount Code: WED There will also be a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn - Estes Park, located 1.5 miles from Black Canyon Inn. The Stanley Hotel and Airbnb are also available options for accommodations.

Arrival:

We recommend guests arrive 15 minutes or so before the official ceremony start time of 4:30pm. We want to ensure there is enough time for our guests to park, walk to the ceremony location and get settled before the proceedings begin. There is parking available at the Venue.

Ceremony:

The ceremony will take place indoors at The Boulders Venue at Black Canyon Inn. If the weather allows, the room may open up to the deck for an indoor/ outdoor ceremony. Ceremony will start at 4:30pm and end at approximately 5pm.

Cocktail Hour:

Answer

The Cocktail Hour will likely be inside the reception area with an outdoor patio. There will be heaters around the patio, but it could still be chilly or even cold so plan to bring a warm coat. There will be a place to store coats at the reception. We will have an open bar and charcuterie (meat & cheese boards) during Cocktail Hour. The cocktail hour will take place from 5pm - 6pm.

The reception will take place indoors at The Boulders Venue on the lower level. The reception area has accordion doors than can open up to the patio if the weather permits. The reception will open for guests at 6pm with our Grand Entrance at approximately 6:15pm. The reception will consist of an open bar and buffet style dinner with a live band and dancing until 11pm.

Gifts:

Thank you so much for thinking of us during this celebratory time. We prefer our guests not to bring gifts to the wedding, but if you would like to get us something, we would greatly appreciate if you contributed to our honeymoon adventure fund, found in the Registry Tab on our wedding website.

The Boulders Venue is equipped with an elevator to provide access to the 2nd floor Ceremony and the 1st floor Cocktail Hour and Reception spaces for anyone in need.

We love your kiddos but due to space restrictions we cannot accomodate additional guests.

Smoking:

Answer

There is no smoking of any kind (cigarettes, cigars, vapes, marijuana) anywhere on the property except in designated smoking areas. We please ask our guests to follow these rules so that we can avoid any issues or steep fines.
