Hoping the heat of the Summer dies down a bit for us! Typical September weather for Birmingham is a high in the mid 80s and a low in the mid 60s. It is a drier month of the year for Birmingham, averaging 7 rainy days.
The ceremony will be held at 5:30 pm in the Sanctuary at Canterbury United Methodist Church. The reception will follow at Vestavia Country Club in the ballroom around 6:15 pm. Plenty of parking is available at both locations, and there will be signage to point you in the right direction! Addresses, times, and directions can be found in the "Schedule" tab on this site.

If you are invited to bring a plus one, it will indicate that on your invitation. It will also be listed on your digital RSVP on this site! We have specifically planned out numbers for food, drink, and space around this count, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!
We have reserved a block of rooms at The Valley Hotel and The Aloft Hotel in downtown Homewood. There are several other options around Birmingham that we recommend as well! Some of our favorites include the Elyton Hotel, the Redmont Hotel, The Kelly Hotel, and The Grand Bohemian.
Our reception will include an open bar as well as station foods to begin closer to 6:30 pm.
If you prefer to bring a gift with you, there will be a designated area in the entry of the country club venue to receive these!
