We're getting married!

We met in our sophomore and freshman years of high school in 2019. We started talking over social media in February of 2019. We had our first date on April 5th of 2019 which consisted of having to be picked up from school by Evan's grandmother and driven to Don Pacos in Buckhannon, WV, followed by watching Evan's baseball game. Since then, we had been on several other dates, leading up to our Youth and Government weekend in Charleston, WV, where Evan had asked me to be his girlfriend on April 27th, 2019. Laikelyn is pursuing a degree in nursing to become a Family Nurse Practitioner, as Evan is a West Virginia State Trooper. Please join us on September 26, 2026 to celebrate our new journey as newly weds as this dream has been a long time coming.

On April 18th, 2025, Evan and I were walking on the most beautiful sunny day on the boardwalk at Stonewall Resort, where we had met our families, and Evan got down on one knee and asked me to join him on the journey of life. This day could not have been any greater or more beautiful as we've shared countless memories at the resort from golfing, kayaking, and jet skiing to getting our prom pictures, to now our engagement.
