Travel Note
To our American friends: to make the most of your first visit to Lebanon, we recommend flying in by Sunday night or, at the latest, Monday early afternoon, and staying for the weekend. Once you've booked your flights, please let us know your flight information by updating the google sheet below. This will be helpful to you all in coordinating your flights, which we encourage you to do, and will help us better plan for your arrivals.
Flight
We've had multiple good experiences with Lufthansa, Air France, British Airways, Qatar Airways, and Turkish Airways. If you come across a trip with a Middle East Airlines second leg (i.e. entry into Beirut), those tend to be most reliable.
Travel Note
To show you as much of Lebanon as we can, your time will be split between 2 regions: From arrival until Wednesday, May 27th, all friends from abroad, and family members from abroad who are interested, will be staying in Batroun - a charming seaside town in northern Lebanon. From Wednesday until your departure, everyone will be staying in Beirut - the country's capital. Accommodations will vary by location. Please open the below google sheet to get more information about accommodation options and fill out requested information. In Batroun, everyone will have the option to stay where they want by browsing through our Airbnb wishlist of top picks around town. Of course, if these options don't work for you, we've added brief instructions in the google sheet to help you search for a stay that will! In Beirut, we'll be providing you with 2 hotel options, which will allow everyone to select the type of hotel experience they'd enjoy most!
