We’re getting married!

Our story began January, 2022 at Fred Meyer, not exactly where you expect to meet the love of your life, but it turned out to be the perfect place for us. At the time, I was a manager, and Adrian was, as he likes to say, “the hired help,” working as an armed security officer. What started as simple interactions during our shifts slowly became something much more meaningful. Between quick conversations, shared laughs, and moments that brightened even the longest days, we found ourselves drawn to each other in a way we couldn’t ignore. Without even realizing it, we became each other’s favorite part of the day. What started in the middle of everyday routines turned into a love full of support, laughter, and deep connection and it’s a beginning we will always cherish. On February 19, 2026 we planned a family trip to California with Adrian’s family, and I was beyond excited, it was going to be my very first time visiting Disneyland. From the moment we arrived, it already felt like a dream come true. But Adrian had something even more special planned, something I would remember for the rest of my life. In the middle of all the magic, he turned an already unforgettable day into the most meaningful moment I’ve ever experienced. Adrian got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. What made it even more emotional was that, even though my family couldn’t be there physically, Adrian made sure they were still part of the moment. He had them there on FaceTime, watching, celebrating, and sharing in one of the most important moments of our lives. In that moment, I felt completely surrounded by love—by him, by our families, and by the life we are building together. Through happy tears and a full heart, my answer was the easiest one I’ve ever given: YES! And thus began our FOREVER
