When we met, we said that our paths must’ve crossed before since we both moved to LA in 2011 and lived 1.5 miles away from one another. ✨ So after about 2 months of dating, it was confirmed that our paths had indeed crossed before. 💫 One evening, Lagueria was scrolling through her phone’s photo gallery at the photos she and Dariann had taken together so far. The very last image was one from 2017. Lagueria was taken aback when she opened the photo. It was a picture of Dariann at the LA Women’s March, taken on January 21, 2017. Lagueria thought back to that day, and recalled taking that photo because she liked the protest sign Dariann was holding up, which read “50 Shades of Gay.” ✨ As if that wasn’t enough of a cosmic coincidence…we realized that exactly 7 years later, on January 21, 2024, we matched on Hinge for the first time. ✨ This love story began well before either of us were even aware. Now we are ready to stand before one another, along with our families and friends, on 1/21/25 to celebrate the love we share.
