THEY'RE MARRIED, LET'S CELEBRATE!

Like many people their age, Elisa and Kevin met online. After sifting through lots of ~interesting~ people, they finally found each other. Elisa sent Kevin a sarcastic comment about something she saw on his profile, and the connection was instant. Just a few days later on 11.22.16 they met for coffee—and have never looked back. That was the last cup of coffee they ever had as single people.

After a year of spending every day together, Elisa and Kevin decided they never wanted to have to go home, and moved in together into a ~quaint~ basement apartment in Madison, NJ in November of 2017. After that, they knew that if they could live for a year in their tiny basement apartment, they could survive ANYTHING as a couple, even the Great Wasp Infestation of 2018. Now, the couple lives in Miami, Florida.

In December of 2018, Elisa and Kevin became parents...dog parents that is. They adopted Oakley, an 11 week old Catahoula mix puppy- and immediately realized maybe they should've waited until the summer to adopt, because if you've ever had a puppy, you know they need to go out every 2 hours, even if it's 10°...even if it's 2 a.m. Luckily, they didn't think that far ahead, or we would not have Oakley in our lives. The sweetest, goofiest, quirkiest little mutt around.

On a warm summer night in Morristown, NJ, Elisa, Kevin, and their parents all went to dinner at the spectacular Da Pesca restaurant at Jockey Hollow Bar & Kitchen. After a night full of laughter, drinks, and food, Kevin went to "pay the bill" and texted Eli to come outside "by the lightpost." In front of the gorgeous fountain under the lightpost (there were MANY lightposts for the record), Elisa saw Kevin waiting with Oakley who had a note tied around his neck. "Dear Mommy, Daddy said he has something important to ask you and wanted my help. Love, Oakley. P.S. Please say yes. I love our little family." Then, in front of hidden family and friends (they were in the bushes), he got on one knee and asked Elisa the most important question- "Will you marry me?" We all know what happened next... SHE SAID YES!

Elisa and Kevin had to postpone their original wedding date, but a global pandemic could not stop these two from getting married. Elisa became a Lagé on December 4, 2020 in an intimate ceremony on the beach in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Elisa and Kevin promised forever in front of their immediate family in a marriage ceremony performed by Elisa's mother. The two are looking forward to celebrating their union with friends and families at their wedding reception on their one year anniversary, 12.04.2021.
