Logan and I met through Tinder. He was too good to be true in his profile with his good looks and personality so I was going to continue to swipe until I saw his nephew. Maverick saved the day! We talked for a bit and then set up a date. I was thinking there was little harm in going out with a cute guy. I told him what I was wearing, a black and white striped shirt with jeans and he told me he was wearing a black shirt and jeans. Standing waiting for him, I see an older gentleman with a long ponytail and beer belly with a black shirt and jeans. I immediately turn around and am thinking about straight up leaving since I’ve now thought I’ve been catfished. My head was telling me to leave but my gut told me to wait one more minute. Thank the lord I didn’t run away because just a moment later I turned and saw Logan on the other side of the road. Time stood still for a second. He started walking to meet me across the street. Like a movie scene everything was blurry but him. I knew he was it. He was going to be my forever and that scared me to pieces. I became a nervous wreck! I walked super fast and felt so socially awkward it’s a miracle this man wanted a second date but look where we are now!
Michelle and I knew where we were going to get married. We wanted to go and find good picture spots so on the actual day we could fly through them. I already had the ring. I knew I was proposing that night. The whole drive there, Michelle is saying how she can’t wait to get engaged and how she wants to look and what it looks like in her imagination. She even said, I hope you give me a heads up cause I don't want to look like this, and pointed at what she's wearing. I tried to play it off and throw her off the scent which I guess worked. We made it and started taking pictures. I somehow made Michelle think bringing our tripod for the photos wasn’t suspicious at all. After an hour or two of trying different spots, we landed on the spot we were going to get married. We took pictures, videos, and tried all the poses. There was another couple behind a tree taking what we thought were engagement photos. And they were taking forever. I waited hoping they’d finish and leave but the sun was going down. Michelle couldn’t think of any other poses or angles. Time was almost up. I had to just go for it. I told her we needed to redo one of the poses and she reluctantly got in position. We go through the poses, and at the end, out of nowhere, Michelle looks away, staring off into the distance. It’s now or never. I fumble the box out of my pocket and get on one knee, waiting for what felt like forever. She turns around and legitimately jumps back in surprise. I started telling her all the things I had practiced. She struggles to get her sunglasses off and is bawling. But she said yes!
