A majority of our friends will be coming in from out of town. This is a holiday that many businesses close, increasing the chance of family and friends being able to attend. Plus, Good Friday is focused around sacrifices that Jesus made for us, and a reminder to love as hard as you can because life is short. We will have plenty of food options for those who celebrate Good Friday. April 7 is a significant date for us, and we hope to see you there on this special occasion. We have cleared it with a priest, so no worries :)
The venue has a parking lot - as soon as you arrive you will see it.
There will be both seafood and non-seafood options in observance of Good Friday, and it will all be SUPER delicious.
Yes! We will have an open bar for wine and beer, soft drinks, and water.
We kindly ask that during the marriage ceremony, and ESPECIALLY while Leigh Anne walks down the aisle, that no one take photos with your phone. We will have a videographer and photographer taking photos during the ceremony. However, at the reception (which is at the same venue), GO CRAZY with pictures! We will have disposable cameras throughout the venue too, please feel free to take as many as you want.
Yes! We will have giant Jenga available outside for the kiddos to have a good time.
Wear whatever makes you comfortable and feel good! We just ask that there are no shorts, no t-shirts, and no one wear white, please.
Your invitation will let you know if you have received a plus one. We have a strict budget and can only invite so many people, so we kindly ask that if you are not given a plus one, please come by yourself and celebrate with us. If you are given a plus one on your invitation, please limit your guest to just one person.
We have a registry though this website! Click on the registry tab at the top of this page. We also are accepting newlywed fund donations to help with things like house projects and medical expenses for Leigh Anne's insulin.
With the abundance of places to stay in Lafayette and Abbeyville, we elected to not have a hotel block and let each guest choose their preferred place to stay.
We only ask that if you are feeling sick, or if you have been exposed to COVID, please celebrate with us from afar. We have several elderly family members and immune-compromised people both in the wedding and as guests, and we have a honeymoon to go on!
YES!! Please RSVP for our head count, so we can ensure we have enough seating, food and drinks.
The ceremony and reception will be at the same venue, so after we are officially married, the party begins!
