You can sign up for free and get daily emails with VERY discounted airfare (usually round trip.) Flights to Europe are usually $400-500. The catch? They typically give you a bracket of time during which the offer is valid, so it's less customizable. However there are so many deals that you inevitably will find one that will work for the time frame of the wedding. There is a paid option that gives you more and better deals as well. I've only signed up for the free version and so far I'm impressed with what I'm seeing!

France uses the Euro. Most places will not accept dollars, but do accept major credit cards. Visa is preferred & accepted just about anywhere, American Express less so. It is advised to get some cash ready. You can exchange dollars for Euros at your local bank or at most airports. Tipping Etiquette: Unlike in the US, restaurants include a 15% service that goes in part to servers. The words "service compris" (tip included) on your bill will indicate that. Prices on the menus are all-inclusive (they reflect the tip & tax.) You can leave a small extra tip for good service but are not obligated. A few cents for a coffee to 1-5€ for lunch or dinner (about 1€ tip for every 20€,) no more.
