My first cousin Teresa aka Terri-May to immediate family and high school life. I guess we met when you were born a year later. We have been through a lot together in this life. From taking the bus to see you downtown as a child with Nonna to road trips to Niagara and Crystal Beach, then coming back to Toronto to do High school with me. We were the children of the corn lol and too many shenanigans in high school soccer, to the many rock concerts, and music festivals we went to. I still can't believe how many bands we have seen together! Our late-night chats, to sleepovers at Nonnos and Nonnas, Sleepovers in my rez, you basically were my number one guest who knew all my roommates! Our cottage trips, Tiny Beaches, to Muskoka, and our Miami trip where you stayed in a hostel after I left and made friends with the whole hostel! I can literally bring you anywhere and you will make friends with anyone, one of the greatest gifts that you got from our Nonna. Always understanding of different people, with a sparkle in your eye to make people smile!

We met in high school, but in grade 11 Marketing we bonded over our Becel butter design project. With you being all over student council, and me in every other committee, it was only natural in Gr 12 that we finally partnered on student council. Our friendship really grew in Gr.11 and 12, then your 18th cotillion, and your Cotillion part 2 AKA your wedding lol. We have definitely been through so many stages growing up together. Dating, breakups, weddings, life's adventures. Very similar personalities when it comes to getting sh*t done and event planning. Complete A types and directive personalities, I like to say we are born leaders. lol We stay up late working on a project or talk the night away, intellectually or about life to completing mission impossible things last minute when needed. It's been a blessing to have you as my friend, my Sailormoon Queen Kimbolina!

I guess we met 2 months after I was born, this chica joined the crew in May 1988. We were at each other's 1st birthdays. Our Dads met in High school, then our moms bonded being pregnant together and I guess the rest is history! We had similar interests in high school and uni, in rock bands, movies, politics/History/Soci/Philosophy, and the arts. Except Alessandra is an even bigger movie buff than I could ever be. We definitely grew closer going to university together. We tried different foods together, explored the Annex, the Brunny, the Bloor theater, Rockie Horror Picture Show, and late nights in my rez, sleepovers etc, and Hart House events. We did a lot of growing up together in our 20s and exploring downtown and UofT. Then we both went into HR, first Alessandra and then myself to follow 1 year later. It's crazy how similar we are, intellectuals at heart but know how to have a good time, and enjoy life and how we ended up in similar professions as well. I was blessed to have Ale be my boss and learn under her as well as my dove leader!

Woodsworth rez Mates, we met in Frosh week, at the overnight UofT Farm up north sleepover. We froze and brought our mattresses into the Farm house to sleep, and bonded over being mad at the event with the Upper years using a Gong waking us all up at 2am, then 6am. lol We explored Toronto, together in our 20s, and it became your second home, having lived around the world mainly, I am so glad you returned back to Canada and chose Toronto to make a home for the last 4 plus years. Even though I know NYC is favourite place on earth. Another Movie Buff, who loves reading and writing. We bonded a lot in second year, and you invited me on my first international trip away from home without teachers, when I came to stay with you in Miami with your Dad. I am so glad we have had some great travel adventures, with London England, Ottawa etc. Another intellectual friend from UofT where we can talk for hours debating keeping each other on our toes and learning from each other. I love that even though you are more of an introvert, you still love to go out, explore cafes, secret cocktail bars and cool new places with me! And always willing to share a bottle of red with me!

Where do I begin? We have been friends for 7 years, and I met you as a surprise roommate in Blue Mountain. You had just moved to Canada from Denmark, and lover of hockey, working our and wine! We bonded instantly, talked for hours as roomies, and I learned so much about Europe from you, and how to drink all the Danish drinks lol. I love your easy-going vibe, always real and chill. I tribute this to having grown up with brothers, we have very similar easy-going personalities and can make friends with anyone, including our 60 yr old neighbor we would drink with. I love driving up to Collingwood and seeing you for the day, just to hang out at the beach or a bar. You are one of my newer friends and the young one in the crowd but, I absolutely love having you around! Bringing you to the cottage to chill on a dock and relax but then talk for hours about life and its challenges. You are so down to earth, and understand how life can be! I hope you end up staying in Ontario for longer as time goes by. But I love that you bring the Danish or Sweedish flavour to any event!

We met in your second year, and my third year. Somehow my roommate Josh met you in HK at Uoft summer school and decided to add us to your dorm condo, and I got to meet you on move-in day, after all these years we kept in touch. Always so down to earth, and ready to take on anything. You showed me around Toronto with all the canto restaurants and we explored Uoft as well. You were one of the only people who stayed in Toronto after undergrad from rez which allowed us to keep in touch after Uni and become closer. Then you left me for Barcelona to do your MBA, Ryan and I visited you and I had one of the best birthdays exploring vineyards for the day with you, and churches in mountains in Catalonia. Soon we will be roaming the Alps together and I can't wait to explore with you again! It's been a blessing having you as my friend.
