We're getting married!

Amy and I met online in January, 2013, and from our first date I knew she was special. We saw a movie and grabbed fro-yo, but of course being Nebraska, it started to snow storm. The weather was so bad we ended up getting lost - not that I complained since it gave us more time to talk. When something should have been stressful but ended up being the highlight of my week, that's when I knew.

Six years later we were on vacation and Amy proposed in front of Hogwarts. Okay, not the real Hogwarts, but as close as you can get - in front of the castle inside Universal Orlando. It was perfect. Everyone who knows us knows how much I love Harry Potter and it was also the featured destination of our first major vacation together, and several subsequent trips...we became known as the people going to Orlando /again/. It's our home away from home. Now our adventure is just beginning and I can't wait to see all the magic married life will bring.
