HIS STORY We know that nothing, but good things happen in church... So, here's the story...One Sunday morning I was driving to church and a voice came to me saying, "Go to New LIfe Christian Center". Since it was not my home church, I initially shrugged off the voice. Then, I heard the voice again saying, "Go to New Life Christian Center". So, I took a hard right and headed there. When I arrived, I noticed someone I knew, and I headed in his direction. However, the Usher told me, "No baby, you got to sit over there". After being 'strong-armed', I conceded. Lol, she sat me next to a young lady. During service, the message was about the enemy trying to steal your seeds and we have to fight to keep our kids protected. I was very emotional... tearing up and what not. While I was crying the young lady sitting next to me kept handing me tissues (Keep in mind, at this point, I didn't really notice her. Afterall, who goes to church to look at pretty women? LOL!). So, at the end of the service, the Pastor says, "Look at your neighbor and say...". That's when I looked at the young lady sitting next to me and instantly said, "WOW, you're pretty". The expression on her face was like "scorched earth". I instantly felt like I had been dealt a death blow! Whatever the Pastor said after that moment, I didn't hear. All I know is that I had made a complete fool of myself. I couldn't wait to leave. Finally, the torture came to an end when the service was over. While saying goodbyes, I could hear a voice saying, "Now she will take care of you and love you the way I love". Talk about POWERFUL, I was like, "Wow, Yes Lord" and now I can't wait to see her again! STILL HIS STORY... So now every Sunday, I'm finding my way to "New Life" a lot more frequent...to hear the WORD, of course (Wink, Wink). The problem is the young lady was never there. This dilemma went on for nearly a year and finally I asked Bishop who was she. He told me her name was LaDonna, but I still had to meet her personally. That didn't happen until we met again at a bowling event. Ok, I thought to myself, "Here's my moment". So, I introduced myself, with all smiles, trying to get her to recall where she had previously met me. But she had no idea who I was! Once again after landing "face-first" I was NOT going to let her get away without exchanging numbers. We did and we had fun the rest of the night. Just when I thought I was good, she never called or returned my calls. WHAT THE #%* !!!! HOW DARE SHE!!! FINALLY... Several weeks passed and voila.... I see her a 3rd time. This time, it was in the gas station. I tried to act as if I was "salty" but then she gave me that same look from before and once again, I quickly conceded (Afterall, Mama ain't raise no fool). Then, she told me she wasn't a 'big phone' person and that's when I took charge and said, "Oh, you will be one now! Lol! We would bond over the next several days and form a cord that hasn't been broken since. HER STORY... What he said without the mean parts about me :o) OUR FOREVER MOMENT Here we are, nearly four years later still enjoying the beauty of a peaceful and loving relationship. As we take our vows before God, we ask for your presence. If you are unable to attend, please send us your prayers. Some people go a lifetime seeking what we have. We are truly thankful to be able to be in that MOMENT where we vow to love, honor, and cherish each other, FOREVER. We love each and every one of you and we appreciate that very special place each of you have in our hearts. LaDonna & James
