Question

Should I rent a car?Should I rent a car?

Answer

It depends on your plans. If you’re staying primarily in Katy for the wedding festivities, you might manage without a car by using rideshare services like Uber or Lyft. However, if you intend to explore Houston’s diverse neighborhoods, attractions, or dining scenes, renting a car is highly recommended. Houston is a sprawling city, and public transportation options can be limited, making a personal vehicle the most convenient way to get around. Travel Times from Houston Airports to Katy: • George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH): Approximately 44 miles from Katy, with a typical driving time of about 50 minutes, depending on traffic. • William P. Hobby Airport (HOU): Approximately 46 miles from Katy, with a typical driving time of about 50 minutes, depending on traffic. Both airports offer various transportation options, including car rentals, taxis, and rideshare services. If you prefer not to drive, rideshare apps are readily available and can provide a convenient alternative.
