Alyssa and Daniel met online on Hinge, go figure! Daniel was in school for the Army for 3 months in Fort Lee, VA right outside of where Alyssa worked as a nurse in the city Richmond,VA. They hung out one weekend and then never stopped. After school, Daniel had to return to Fort Benning, GA while Alyssa stayed in Richmond. They were in a long distance relationship for 1 year and four months (but who’s counting) before Alyssa made the move to be with Daniel in Fort Benning so they could be happily ever after. They were happy and made it work despite the distance. They are happy to plan their wedding from a distance, too, with friends and family in Tucson, AZ.
